Ghaziabad: In the case of plots re-allocation scam in the Swarn Jayanti Puram Housing Scheme, the Chief Secretary’s residence on Friday filed an affidavit and told the court of Justice Arun Tandon and Justice Rajiv Joshi that there have been errors in allocation. Two clerks found responsible for it have been suspended. The assistant secretary and head clerk have died. Four officers have been retired. The then GDA OSD RP Pandey is in service. He also told the court that a four-member committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Moradabad Commissioner for investigation in this matter. On this, the High Court has asked him why the action was not taken on the big officials? The investigation has been asked to submit the report in the next hearing on November 22.
Eleven schemes were announced in Swarn Jayanti Puram Housing Scheme from 1998 to 2003, between 1998 and 2003. Of these, 1583 plots were allocated. Allotments were canceled due to non-payment of installments and abandonment of some. From February 2005 to February 2007, the GDA reallocated 139 of them. Rajendra Tyagi raised this issue in 2007. Alleging that collusion tax, the allotment of plots at the lower rates was done at the sector rate instead of the current circle rate. There are also many other irregularities charged. On the complaint from the government in 2009, the commissioner investigated the matter. When the result was not seen, Rajendra Tyagi approached the High Court. On the strictness of the court examined the case a few days ago in the GDA.
On Tuesday, in this report, it was agreed that the re allocation was wrong. He was suspended to the responsible clerk Shriram character and assistant clerk Deepak Talwar. It also said that the Chief Clerk and the Assistant Secretary have died. The then VC DP Singh, the then Secretary RC Mishra and the then OSD Hiralal have retired.
