According to the promise made to the Chief Minister, if the investors did not capture 50 thousand flats till December, the authorities would take strict action. On Monday, Greater Noida Authority CEO Debasish Panda held a meeting with builders. He said in a tone that the builders would fulfill their promise. If the builders did not complete the promise, then how will the trust in the investors be established? He cautioned that action will be taken against the builders who are not ready for their promise. Builders conveyed to the CEO that so far 1.5 to 2 thousand investors have been given flats. Greater Noida Authority CEO Debashi Panda was not satisfied with it. He said that upto fifty thousand investors should get flats till December. On November 8, the state’s industrial development minister Satish Mahana Noida will hold meetings with Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority officials. It will also include builders. They will have to hand over their work plan to the state government.
The builders of the three authority fields held a meeting with the state’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow on September 12. The builders had assured the Chief Minister that if the Authority simplifies the compliance process, then 50 thousand investors will be given possession of the flats in three months. At the request of builders, the authority simplified the compliance process. Despite this, its builder is not in a position to give flat to fifty thousand investors in the prescribed period. Builder wants some more time. The Authority has refused to extend the timeline. Authorities CEO Debasish Panda took a firm stand and said that the builders will not be given any further concession. Builders who do not capture the flats will now have to face the action of the Authority. He also took a stand against the non-paying builders, saying that pay any urgent payment or be ready for action.
Builders have been given a lot of time. Compliance process was simplified keeping in view the interests of investors. Even after the builder withdraws the promise made to the Chief Minister, the Authority will take action. Builders will no longer be given a concession. Debasish Panda, CEO, Greater Noida Authority
