Greater Noida Authority CEO Debashish Panda held a meeting with builders on Monday. The audit reports submitted by the builders in the Authority in the last one month were discussed in detail. The CEO stressed on the builders that flats should be constructed in a timely manner according to the promise. If the builders do not construct flats according to the promise, the authority will take strong steps. Land allotment will be canceled by filing a case in the police station against builders who do not construct flats.
The Authority has audited 94 builder projects. However, most builders could not give proper information to the authority for income-expenditure. The Authority gave notice to the builders and asked how much money was recovered from investors in the name of booking. Payment of installments of plot was paid to Authority How much money was spent on the construction How long will the construction of the remaining flats be completed and the investors will be given possession According to official sources, no one has given information to the authority except the few builders. Half-incomplete information has been provided to the Authority. On Monday the CEO of the Authority discussed the builders’ audit report in detail. He expressed his displeasure at the incomplete information. The builders were warned that they would complete the construction of the flats during the prescribed period. The Authority will support only those builders who will allow investors to take over the flats. Action will be taken against the rest builders.
