New Delhi: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is coming soon with a new housing scheme. The new plan will have 21 thousand flats and basic amenities will also be made available first. DDA also has made preparations to increase the size of the earlier small flats.
New residential plans can be launched at any time in five months. In that areas where 21 thousand flats of the new housing scheme are included. Where for water, electricity, transport and security related facilities DDA is currently writing a letter to the Water Board, Power Distribution Companies, DTC, Delhi Metro and Police. On the other hand, being told by DDA, the engineering team is preparing reports on all the possibilities of improving the size of existing LIG flats.
Along with the option to enlarge the size of the bedroom, the option of mixing two flats together is also kept open. A senior officer of DDA said that the expectation of selling these flats is quite low. The engineering team has been asked to work on all the options to increase the size of these flats. DDA will move forward on the basis of the option which would be better.
