Ghaziabad: GDA has to file affidavit in High Court after taking action against the guilty in relation to the allocation of plots at lower rate in Swarnajayantipuram. On Monday, the GDA officials scribbled the case for internal examination. This investigation is almost complete. DM and GDA vice-president Ritu Maheshwari said that on Tuesday, the names of the culprits will be decided to take action against them. The next hearing will be held on November 3 in this case.
Between 2005 and 2006, the middle GDA allocated 139 canceled plots. Rajendra Tyagi had filed a petition in the High Court on the fear of disturbance in the allocation. It was alleged that GDA officers and employees incorrectly allocated the plot to the same people at a lower rate, in the name of which were canceled. The GDA has kept the matter before the court in this case that there was no disturbance in allocation from their level. The allocation was made after the comparison of the Circle Rate and the Sector Rate met by the Sub Registrar from June 2006 onwards. At the same time, the petitioner had said that GDA allocated at the lower sector rate rather than the increased circle rate.
On behalf of DM, it was argued that on April 4, 2006, the notification of increased circle rate was issued which was canceled by the then DM after a few days. Increased rates were not implemented. High court took a strict stance and sought a list of officers involved in allocation in the last hearing in this case. He also asked for an oath of action on the convicts of allocation. On Monday, DM and GDA vice-president Rite Maheshwari filed a file of allocation with all the officials in the GDA on Monday. Many discussions were discussed. The investigation is almost complete.
