The court on Thursday deferred the demand for interim bail of Unitech owner Sanjay Chandra and his brother, saying they did not see the tears of a single person. The court has asked the buyers to register in the website created by the judge, and they should ask whether they want flat or money back.

The bench told Sanjay Chandra’s counsel that he would either refund the money to the flat buyers or appoint a court receiver and would auction the flat and earn money. Court’s Assistant Juditator Pawan Shri Agarwal told the court that he has created a website called www.amicusunitech.in , in which the buyer can register himself. Unitech has 74 projects, 13 of which have been given to the flat buyers. 16299 flat buyers are yet to get possession in 61 projects. 7816 crores of buyers are stranded Following this information, the court ordered that the flat buyers will go to the website and tell them whether they want flat or money. The website will start on Friday. The buyer can register the demand for 15 days by registering on the website.
The court has fixed the date of October 23 for hearing, giving three weeks time for the entire process. Meanwhile, attorneys on behalf of Unitech appealed to Sanjay Chandra’s bail and said that he would be given only six months and he would be giving the flat to everyone.
