Good news for flat buyer who buy a house in Amrapali Group’s projects. Public sector company National Buildings Construction Corporation Limited (NBCC) can soon take over the hanging projects of the Amrapali group. On Thursday, the Supreme Court was told by the company that it was ready to complete the Amrapali Group’s projects. The bench of Justice Arun Mishra and Justice Uday U Lalit told NBCC that in this regard, within 30 days, a resolution should be made to present how to complete the Amrapali group’s projects. The court withdrew its earlier instructions to deposit Rs 250 crore to the Amrapali group as it was yet to be implemented.
The bench, while allowing the group to withdraw an application, said that his conduct was completely inappropriate and completely wrong. The court also took cognizance of the Amrapali group allegedly using another Rs 2,765 crore rupees and asked the auditor to present the report about it. The Supreme Court gave instructions to the Registry to make the banks aware about its order for seizing all bank accounts of the Amrapali group companies.
The Supreme Court had directed the Amrapali Group to present details of all the bank accounts from 2008 till date, and also ordered the seize of bank accounts and their personal assets of all the directors of these 40 firms. The Amrapali Group still has about 42,000 home buyers to take possession of their flat. The bench expressed its displeasure over issuing advertisements to invite co-developers to do the work related to Amrapali group by NBCC without its permission.
The court had earlier told that in order to hear the issues related to home buyers and problems affecting the pending projects in the incomplete or inadequate areas of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway, the Uttar Pradesh Government has chaired the Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Has constituted a high-level committee. The group had said that it is in talks with the Center to complete its incomplete and not yet completed or future projects to be completed by NBCC.
A day before, the Supreme Court strongly condemned the Amrapali Group. Do not give time to position on home buyers and about the hanging of the projects the Supreme Court had said on Wednesday that the trend of putting flat buyers’ money in real estate companies in the second project is like a crime and it should be closed.
