New Delhi – Flats can be made in all the industrial areas of Delhi. In addition, commercial buildings, including hospitals, can also be built. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has prepared a proposal in this regard. The proposal will be put in the DDA board meeting along with Lt Governor Anil Baijal at Raj Niwas on Tuesday. Neither is the use of residential use in any industrial area at the moment nor commercial use. In this case, this proposal of DDA can bring a big boom in real estate too.
According to the proposal prepared by the DDA, if the size of industrial plot is three thousand square meters, then it will not only create two flats but also the entire group housing society. The hospital can also be opened and the commercial use building can also be raised. If the size of plot is small or that is 500 or thousand square meters then there is no problem, with the help of many plots, the scheme can be availed.
According to sources, to avail the scheme, the entrepreneurs will have to change land use from the Land Dispensary Department of DDA. There will also be a prescribed fee for this. To make flat or group housing societies, 15 per cent of the average circle rate in the adjoining residential area of the industrial area will have to be paid, whereas for building hospital or other commercial building, 25 percent more than the average circle rate of the residential area will be paid.
There are other activities that can be run in the school and college: Only educational activities can be run in the DDA where schools-colleges or other educational institutions are allowed to operate, but now the activities related to vocational education can also be run. In this direction, the DDA has also prepared the proposal. “DDA’s proposal will be prepared, in meeting with LG, 1” to make a commercial building by paying a fixed fee
