Good news for those living in Delhi’s Highrise Residential, Commercial or Institutional Buildings, who are cutting out of the MCD offices for compliance certificates for years or months. Now a single joint inspection of the building will be done to give compliance certificates in a week or less. This rule will be implemented in all the three MCDs of Delhi.
During the inspection of the building all the representation of departments will be present. The entire process will also be done for transparency. This step has been taken on the Mandate of World Bank for Issue of Doing Business. Explain that now to check compliance certificates of buildings, different agencies like Fire Department, Water Boards, Delhi Urban Art Commission, MCD etc. are examined. Compliance Certificate is available only after getting NOC from them. It takes three to four months for inspections to the agencies. Applicants have to rotate from one office to another. Being disturbed, people do not take compliance certificates. For this reason, 70 per cent of residential buildings in Delhi do not have compliance certificates.
Date information by SMS: For compliance certification of the building On this day of applicant will application, within two or three days of the application, he will be informed of the date of inspection through an SMS or e-mail. On that day all the people of the departments will be gathered on the spot and inspection and the same day the report will also be released.
